Set up the right home for your reptile with our terrarium range: glass terrariums in all standard sizes, plus the heating, lighting, substrate, and décor that turn a tank into a proper habitat.
Different species need very different setups — a bearded dragon needs a hot, dry desert terrarium with strong UVB lighting, while a crested gecko thrives in a tall, planted, humid enclosure. Our range covers both ends: front-opening glass terrariums with ventilation for desert and tropical species, starter kits for first-time keepers, and individual components for custom builds.
If you’re starting out, choose the terrarium size for your animal’s adult size — upgrading later costs more than starting right.
What size terrarium do I need?
Size for the adult animal, not the juvenile. As a rule of thumb, the enclosure length should be at least twice the adult body length — larger is always better.
Glass or plastic terrarium?
Glass holds temperature and humidity better, looks better, and lasts longer. Plastic enclosures suit quarantine or temporary housing.
Do terrariums come with heating and lighting?
Starter kits do; standalone terrariums don’t. We stock heat mats, lamps, and UVB lighting for every setup.
